Editorial policy

How we decide what to publish, where our information comes from and how we keep it accurate.

Sources

Product facts – features, plan structure, platforms, availability – come from official websites, documentation and announcements. Where we rely on reporting, we link to it. News briefings list their sources.

Facts versus opinion

Sections labelled Our view, along with strengths and limitations, are editorial judgement. Everything else on a tool page should be verifiable from the official source we link to.

Prices

Prices change frequently and vary by country, currency and billing period. We describe plan structure (for example "free plan available") and link to the official pricing page instead of quoting figures we cannot keep current.

No fake signals

We do not publish ratings, star scores, user reviews, testimonials or statistics unless they are real and attributed. Example outputs on prompt pages are labelled as illustrations written by our editors.

Use of AI in our work

We use AI tools to help research, outline and edit some content. Every published page is reviewed by a person for accuracy and usefulness, and we take responsibility for everything we publish.

Independence

Advertisers, affiliate partners and sponsors cannot buy positive coverage or editorial changes. Sponsored listings are labelled "Sponsored". See our affiliate disclosure.

Updates and corrections

Every tool page shows a "last reviewed" date and every article shows when it was last updated. If you spot an error, contact us and we'll review it promptly. Significant corrections are noted on the page.
